- Mumbai city is located at
18 .54 degrees North, and 72.4 degrees East encompassing an area of 600sq.km.
As it lies on the coast, climatic conditions are not extreme. Humidity is often
very high and the temperature ranges between 19 and 34 degrees celcius. Mumbai
runs 5 ½ hours ahead of London and 10 ½ hours ahead of New York.

important point under consideration is that visa is essential for all visitors
which is usually valid for a period of 6 months.

is payable at the airport while booking of tickets for international travel only.
- As for shopping, street vendors give in to bargains, while stores
do not.
