Ghazal, literally meaning "talking to Women" in Arabic language, is a poetic genre used to express romantic themes in much of Asia, in languages ranging from Arabic and Persian to Urdu and Sindhi. Ghazal is sung with musical accompaniments, as well as recited in gatherings. Famous poets of Ghazal include Sa'di, Rumi, Amir Khusro, and Ghalib, among others.
